Carers Active April: Small Steps That Support Wellbeing

Carers Active April is a national campaign from Carers UK that highlights the importance of physical activity for carers — and how even small moments of movement can support physical and emotional wellbeing. 

We know many carers face barriers such as limited time and low energy, so throughout April we’ll be sharing simple, achievable ideas to help carers move in ways that feel manageable. 

As part of the national campaign, carers can also take part in Carers UK’s activities, including: 

Closer to home, our Walk & Talk groups offer friendly, gentle opportunities to get outdoors and connect with others. 

We’ll be promoting small actions throughout the month — because every minute of movement counts.
