Carers Support’s Young Carers 13Up Club Selected for Tesco In-Store Vote

We’re excited to share that our Young Carers 13Up Club in Yate has been selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts in-store vote, running from early October 2025 to mid-January 2026.

This monthly group supports young carers aged 13 and up—those who look after someone at home—by offering a safe space to make friends, enjoy fun activities, build life skills, and access advice and support.

Customers shopping at selected Tesco stores in Yate will be able to vote for our project using blue tokens received at checkout. The project with the most votes will receive up to £1,500, with second and third place receiving up to £1,000 and £500 respectively. We’ve requested a grant of £1,452, which would make a huge difference to the club.
