Singing for the Brain – Withywood is a supportive, dementia-inclusive music group run by Alzheimer’s Society that brings people living with dementia and their carers together for shared singing, social connection and wellbeing. Sessions focus on familiar and engaging songs, gentle vocal activities and relaxed conversation in a friendly community setting. You do not need to be a seasoned singer to enjoy the benefits — singing together can help boost mood, reduce isolation and create a sense of belonging. The group is led by experienced facilitators who understand dementia and provide a safe, accessible space for everyone involved.
