Located in the heart of Clifton, Bristol, the Friends Together Café at All Saints Church is a dementia-friendly community hub that opens its doors to everyone. Held on the first Thursday of every month from 10am to 12pm, this free café offers a safe, inclusive, and uplifting environment where individuals living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers can come together for companionship, support, and joy.
Hosted in the bright and spacious Randall Room (with lift access), the café provides a comforting atmosphere filled with free hot drinks, home-made cakes, and savoury snacks. Whether you're seeking a friendly chat, helpful information, or simply a place to relax, the Friends Together Café is here for you.
Originally launched in May 2017 as “Friends on Friday” during Dementia Awareness Week, the initiative was relaunched post-pandemic as “Friends Together” and continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the local community. Each session features engaging activities such as gentle seated exercises, music, and seasonal celebrations, all designed to foster connection and wellbeing.
This café is more than just a place to enjoy refreshments—it’s a vital part of Bristol’s dementia support network, offering friendship, conversation, and practical guidance in a relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or experience with dementia.
Join us at the Friends Together Café and discover a space where kindness, understanding, and community come together.
