Bristol After Stroke is a local charity offering emotional, psychological, and practical support to people recovering from stroke—and to the carers who support them. Carers are welcomed into many of the charity’s services, including peer support groups, stroke cafés, and short courses designed to build understanding and resilience. One-to-one counselling and group sessions with professionals also help carers manage the emotional impact of stroke and maintain their own wellbeing. Whether you're a family member, friend, or neighbour, Bristol After Stroke provides a compassionate space to connect, learn, and feel supported.
