Age UK Bristol’s Telephone Groups help people aged 50+ stay connected and active from home. A facilitator hosts group calls where participants can chat, share stories, and sometimes discuss a short reading (such as South Bristol local history). Calls are free, last up to an hour, and take place on Tuesdays at 11:00–12:00 and 14:00–15:00. If needed, Age UK can call you to join the session. These groups are a great way to reduce isolation and meet new people without leaving home.
