SEND Coffee Mornings/Afternoons

SEND Coffee Mornings and Afternoons are informal, welcoming sessions for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These gatherings provide a safe space to meet others who understand the challenges of caring for a child with additional needs. There’s no set agenda—just an opportunity to chat, share experiences, and offer mutual support. Attendees can exchange practical tips, learn about local services, and feel part of a supportive community. Sessions are often held in schools or community venues, and virtual options are sometimes available for those who prefer to join from home.
