By partnering with hotels across the country, Carefree transforms unused hotel rooms into free short breaks for those who provide 30+ hours of unpaid care each week. These 1–2 night stays offer a vital opportunity for carers to rest, recharge, and reconnect with themselves—without the person they care for.

With just a £33 admin fee, carers can book a relaxing hotel stay for themselves and a companion (not the person they care for), choosing from hundreds of participating hotels nationwide. Most stays include breakfast, and the only additional costs are travel and personal expenses.
