Our Music Club is a welcoming and inclusive space for adults living with dementia and those who support them. Delivered by Bristol Beacon in partnership with the Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service, the sessions use live music to enhance wellbeing, confidence, and connection.
Led by three professional musicians, each session begins with a relaxed coffee morning and moves into an hour of music-making. Activities include vocal and physical warm-ups, learning new songs, improvisation, and conducting exercises. The programme is designed to help participants feel present, joyful, and engaged.
Sessions are held in two Bristol locations—Filwood and Easton—and are supported by organisations including The Anchor Society, Grateful Society, St Monica Trust, and Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
