Autumn Years Community Care’s Respite Day Centres are vibrant, welcoming spaces where people living with dementia can enjoy meaningful activities, companionship, and laughter. Each centre is staffed by trained, compassionate support workers who specialise in dementia care.

Activities are tailored to individual interests and may include:

  • Singing and live music
  • Visits from therapy pets
  • Arts & crafts, pottery, and painting
  • Gardening and walking
  • Chair-based exercise and pampering
  • Intergenerational events with local schools
  • Quizzes, bingo, and reminiscence sessions
  • Trips out and seasonal treats like ice cream in the sunshine

Clients are greeted with warmth, offered refreshments, and encouraged to participate at their own pace. Whether joining in or simply enjoying the atmosphere, everyone leaves feeling uplifted. These centres also provide carers with peace of mind and valuable time to themselves.
