The Autumn Friend service offers personalised companionship and support for people living with dementia. Whether your loved one lives alone or with you, an Autumn Friend provides consistent, friendly help with everyday activities—giving carers peace of mind and valuable time to themselves.
Each Autumn Friend is carefully matched based on shared interests and backgrounds, and will always be the same person, living locally and familiar with the area. They can assist with:
Autumn Friends are fully trained, compassionate, and Enhanced DBS-checked. Their presence helps reduce isolation, improve mood, and support wellbeing—making life more enjoyable and less stressful for both the person living with dementia and their carer.
