Age UK South Gloucestershire's Activity Day Centres offer older people a stimulating, person-centred day away from home. Each session includes a two-course lunch, refreshments, and a wide range of activities tailored to individual needs. Options include singing workshops, Tai Chi, quizzes, arts and crafts, Nintendo Wii games, knitting, and memory boxes.
Benefits include improved health and wellbeing, reduced isolation, better nutrition, and increased confidence. Our trained team provides one-to-one support and adapts activities for those with mild to moderate dementia.
Transport options and half-day packages may be available. Taster sessions can be arranged so you can experience the service before committing.
Anyone aged 50+ who would benefit from social interaction and structured activities can apply.
