Being a young adult carer can be an isolating experience. There is a range of support services available both locally and nationally that can provide advice and guidance on whatever it is you are struggling with. On this page you will find brief outlines of these services and how to get in touch with them.
At Carers Support Bristol and South Gloucestershire, we offer a range of support services to assist you in your caring role and to help you to look after your own wellbeing.
If you want to talk to a member of our staff directly, you can contact our CarersLine. CarersLine is a confidential phone and email support service for carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
We’re launching a new monthly Peer Support Group in Bristol for young adult carers aged 18 to 25 who care for a loved one.
This is a great opportunity to meet others in similar situations, share experiences, and gain support in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The group will decide how and where sessions run—it’s your space. Refreshments will be provided, and we’ll reimburse your travel costs.
